"Passivhaus" is a passive house, but construction criteria is entrusted to a design "concept" quantitative . It had been developing in Germany by the Research Institute PHI Passivhaus Institut since 1988.
Today thousands of houses, administrative and commercial buildings, schools , churches and supermarkets throughout the world are Passivhaus certified. The results are amazing and the experiences have been validating living comfort and really reducing energy consumption by 10 times lower than conventional buildings.

Disseminate the business ethics of the passive house, thanks to an activity of promotion and diffusion of innovative design and through the assessment of the ethical economy of all the buildings: civil, residential, industrial, public and private.
Promote a new concept of the building, intended as a leap forward in technological and cultural,
that leads to “Social Awareness” of a new way of thinking about the case of Sicily and of the sicilians.
Inform and train professionals and stakeholders, the technologies and building practices Passivhaus,
according to the logic of the “beautiful and right”.
To promote among the citizens the idea that the passive house should always be,
as an investment for themselves and for the environment in which we live.
To promote among the Institutions is the concept of the passive house-standard construction and renovation of each building: passive Houses, Passivhaus, Zero Energy, Zero CO2 emissions, Buildings with Positive Energy.
Do network with the other associations of the territory, national and international, to share in the task of promotion of the Passivhaus and diffusion of the concept of business ethics, in citizenship, civil society, the institutions, the economic organizations.
